If the back is your problem, the Body Tawashi Pole was designed for it.  Its cylindrical form follows the natural curve of the spine, giving you full coverage from shoulders to lower back in a single comfortable motion.  No flat brush does this.

With regular use, the sisal fiber softens and molds to you.  The brush becomes familiar in a way that plastic never does.  It's the kind of object you stop replacing and start keeping.
